It seems this is the season of Awards and recognition for showbiz couple Tunde and Wunmi Obe (T.W.O).

On March 5th 2011, T.W.O carted away the award for Best Entertainment Couple of the Year, at the CITY PRIDE ACHIEVERS’AWARD 2011. The scandal-free couple beat fellow nominees, Olu & Joke Jacobs and Ireti & Patrick Doyle, to clinch the coveted award in that category.

Earlier in the year, they had also beaten other nominees to win the DYNAMIC COUPLE OF THE YEAR 2010, in an event organised by SEGUN OSENI PRODUCTIONS, producers of the TV series, ‘THE COUPLE’. The event was held on the 12th of February 2011, whilst the hard-working couple was away in Port-Harcourt, thrilling fans at their annual Cupid’s Ball event.

Before that in December last Year, their band DEJA VU was also honoured with the MOST OUTSTANDING MUSIC BAND 2010 award at the Celebrities’ Recognition of Excellence Awards event where they also beat other nominated live bands, to clinch the award.

It would also be recalled that the couple also went home last year November at the NMVA awards, with the award for the BEST USE OF ANIMATION for their video, ‘I Need Someone’.
